Research Clusters

At Curtin Malaysia’s Faculty of Business, research goes beyond traditional boundaries to address the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world. Our researchers are advancing knowledge that shapes industries, empowers communities, and supports sustainable futures through three key research clusters:

• Digital Economy
• Circular Economy
• Wellbeing

The Digital Economy Cluster explores how technology, data, and innovation are transforming business models, consumer behaviour, and leadership, driving inclusive growth in an interconnected world.

The Circular Economy Cluster pioneers solutions that optimise resources, reduce waste, and create regenerative systems for industries, cities, and communities.

The Wellbeing Cluster focuses on human and social dimensions of prosperity, from workplace resilience and education to community health and sustainable livelihoods.

Together, these clusters deliver research with real-world impact, informing businesses, governments, and communities while contributing to sustainable economic development and social progress across Malaysia, ASEAN, and beyond.
